| Mandatory Requirements : |
• The role requires an
extensive knowledge of
not only the equipment
used to
establish the network,
but the most efficient
design, the
prioritization of
signals, the
configuration of the
Quality-of-Service, and
sophisticated
troubleshooting skills.
• Network Architects
typically design and
deploy systems, but do
not perform daily
operational or
administrative tasks.
• This person should be
certified through the
full range of both
Microsoft and Cisco
certifications and is
usually the most
technical member of a
large IT team or a
consulting entity.
• The District requires
the services of a Network
Architect for projects
that fundamentally
change
the architecture of the
network, or when
deploying new networking
equipment or a new
system
with intensive networking
needs.
• This role is not a
